Diversity?
I follow about 125 people and I havent seen one posting coming to the rescue of McCain/Palin. Now it’s obvious I am not a supporter of the the candidates who hang to the right, but it would be nice to read some other tumblr’s opinions.
I’ll admit, I’ve never cared about politics until recently. I reside on the fence with many issues, but it is so undeniable that this country needs to go in another direction. Things are bad. Like Joe Biden and his politics or not, what he said last night rings very true for whomever it is you support….”this is the most important election you will ever vote in”.
I laugh whenever I hear stuff like “this election is the most important of your lifetime.” (I don’t laugh at antikris, because I would never do that because I’m in love with her.) The VP candidates agreed on pretty much everything last night (the bailout, budgets without any fiscal responsibility, increased regulation, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc, etc). They continued to draw meaningless distinctions between their positions (uh, the VP has flexibility; no, the VP has no legislative power—who cares??? Neither will be legislating), but only explicitly agreed when it came to their rejection of gay marriage (!!!!!). Like that’s the only thing they felt comfortable being seen in public to agree on. Yeah, it’s important to them if I vote so that I can legitimize this process.
