The scene that gives The Wackness its title is pretty nice. Stephanie and Luke are chilling at the beach at night, but Luke is sitting on the sidelines watching Stephanie frolick carefree in the ocean. He’s got his brow furrowed, thinking deeply about something. Ya know, he’s a drug dealer. Stephanie says something like, “You know what your problem is Shapiro?” And he’s like, “Ur?” She explains, “You see, I look at the dopeness. You look at the wackness.” Of course, wackness isn’t a word, but in their white bread hip hop head loving world, they understand each other. That’s love, g.
