In-n-Out burger is absurdly overrated. It is okay for a fast food burger, that’s about it. I think In-n-Out is mostly for people who have never traveled to the south, Texas, the midwest, the southwest, and so on. The only people I’ve met who have fetishized In-n-Out have been Californians and New Yorkers. I took an NYC’er to Snuffer’s in Dallas and she said it was the best burger she’d ever eaten. She was the kind of person who thought Shake Shack and its ilk were special burger places, but I visually saw her mind blown when she bit into a true burger.
