I dunno anything about Miz, but I’ve always loved KG for his intensity. Yeah, sometimes it works against him, but can you blame the man for getting wrapped up in the moment? For all this time he’s been basically a one man team, dying out on the court with little or nothing to show for it, and now he FINALLY has his chance.
For fun, watch KG after the whistle of the other team has the ball. If they even think about putting up a shot following a foul, he cocks back and blocks the hell outta the thing. Brilliant. I think it’s great that KG has a shot at the title, I just wish it wasn’t with the fucking Celtics.
Again, you’re confounding KG style with KG substance (and we’re not talking about a player, e.g., say, Cristiano Ronaldo, where his style is his substance). Does KG blocking a dead ball help the Celtics win championships? Yes, it helps build myth and helps idiots construct narratives as to why KG is ferocious, but it doesn’t manifest desire directed toward his purported goal.
