I don’t know if running marathons is good or natural, I prefer to run well at a pace and to a distance that feels good for me while continually challenging myself. I used to compete against other people frequently but now I prefer to compete against myself and my own increasing propensity to be sedentary.

I cycle more than I run and it’s good. I like the motion, the speed, the ability to coast sometimes…Just me a simple machine and a surface to move over but: It’s not running. I have always felt like running is the most natural and wonderful form of movement that I (or any human perhaps) could ever perform.
